thanks veterans

We would like to thank all veterans everywhere. We honor and memorialize all those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country, all past and present, also all men and women now deployed serving their country.

Thank you for all you have done to keep us free and made America the greatest country in the world and all you are continuing to do.

Veterans Day on Nov. 11 is a federal holiday that is meant to honor all veterans of the uniformed services who served or are still serving during times of peace and war.

Veterans Day has its origins at the end of World War I when at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, the fighting ended with the signing of an armistice. That day was called Armistice Day until 1954 when President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed the legislation for it to become a federal holiday, and the name was then changed to Veterans Day.

Thank you and happy Veterans Day.
