The 2023 Fairless Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive has come to an end. Regardless of the amount of money raised, organizers are calling it a success due to the amount of support this holiday season. The final total will not be available for several weeks.

Fairless Salvation Army would like to thank its corporate sponsors this year: Brewster Federal Credit Union, Kirby Food and Beverage/Kraus’ Pizza, Culp-Myers Awning Co., Navarre Animal Clinic, Spidell Funeral Home, Baltzly Dental, MCTV, and Campbell Oil.

“We are always grateful for those who host our counter kettles too. Their willingness to have a kettle to collect change adds up to a huge portion of our total,” said Susan Mihal, Salvation Army board chairperson.

Thanks go out to Amish Door Shop and Bakery, Anderson’s in the Village, Bell Store Brewster, Hair Emporium, Harvest Thrift Store, Kraus’ Pizza, Kremeland, Spee-D-Foods/Marathon Navarre, Sojourn Café Brewster, Manely Antique Mall, Navarre Animal Clinic, Navarre Drive Thru, Scriptshop Pharmacy, and Subway Brewster.

“And lastly, we offer a huge debt of gratitude to Tractor Supply and Brewster Bell Store for allowing us to have manned kettles in their stores,” Mihal said. “Manned kettles historically bring in the greater part of our funds and a necessity to reach our goals. And a final shout-out to Fairless Schools and all the students who rang the bell at basketball games for us. This was a new site for us this year, and we are thankful to all those who helped make it a reality.”
