The Dover Public Library’s final teen program of the summer is a Teen Lock-In on Friday, July 29 from 6-11 p.m. Teens grades 6-12 are invited to this free event featuring food, games and crafts.

Registration is limited to 20 teens, and a permission slip is required for the event. Call the library at 330-343-6123 to register.

This year the lock-in will feature badge-making, a scavenger hunt, crafts and games throughout the library. Participants also will receive refreshments including pizza. Teen participants are asked to bring a flashlight and snacks to share.

“We are very excited to bring back this teen-favorite program,” teen/outreach services manager Liz Strauss said. “It is always a fun night and a great way to end a fantastic summer here at the library.”

This program is funded in part by a 21st Century Afterschool Learning Grant with Dover High School, which supports communities in creating learning opportunities outside the classroom such as the Dover Public Library’s Mobile STEAM Lab.

The Dover Public Library is located at 525 N. Walnut St. in Dover and online at www.doverlibrary.org.
