Elks Teens of the Month named

Katelin Morgan is River View’s Elks Teen of the Month for November. She is the daughter of Sabrina and Tony Morgan of Coshocton. Her community activities include 4-H, working at Bob Evans and competing in pageants to represent her community.

Morgan’s school activities include being a cheerleader for three years, a teacher’s aide for one year and completing her senior project, titled Random Acts of Kindness. Upon graduation she is attending Mount Vernon Nazarene University and majoring in early childhood education.

River View’s Teen of the Month for December is Hunter Bowman. He is the son of Brent and Tracy Bowman of Warsaw.

Bowman has played football all four years of high school and has been involved in the River View FFA program. The past two years he has held the office of sentinel in FFA. For two years he has been in the National Honor Society and The Letterman’s Club. He has received the Academic Achievement Award all four years of high school.

Bowman also attends the Coshocton County Career Center part time. He has earned three American Welding certifications in metal fabrication. His senior project for this year is making flags for all the Coshocton County Fire Departments.

Outside of school Bowman is a junior firefighter for the Walhonding Valley Fire Department, an 11-year member of 4-H, a three-year member of the Coshocton County Junior Fair Board and a junior leader.

Upon graduation Bowman will enlist in the Ohio National Guard.
